Margaret Jeanette Elliott

Margaret Jeanette Elliott, 88, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at The Addison of Fayetteville.

Margaret was born June 21, 1934 in Gaffney, SC to the late Inez and Joe Painter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Elliott; son, Kenneth Elliott, Sr.; brothers, Jerry Painter and Bill Painter; sister, Betty Elliott.

She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Margaret retired from Qualex as a photo processor.

A visitation will be held at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 3-5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Blakely Funeral Home Chapel in Gaffney, SC. The family will receive friends at Blakely Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Elliott Sparks (Steve); grandchildren, Kenny Elliott (Karen), Scott Parrish (Laura), Marsha Gaines (Patrick), Steven Sparks (Samantha), Sarah Sparks (Derek); great-grandchildren; Karrie Parrish, Ryan Currie, Kaleb Elliott, Kayla Parrish, Emma Currie; great-great grandson, Percy Walsh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5064 Macedonia Church Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312.
