Marsha (Dew) Baumgart

Marsha Dew Baumgart went to heaven to see her beloved parents, Margaret S. Dew and George Frederick Dew, and her beloved brother, William F. “Bill” Dew, on March 4, 2025.  She was born May 27, 1956, in Wilmington, NC.  She spent her school years as an army kid in Panama and the Seventy First school district in Fayetteville.  On January 5, 1980, she married Keith Baumgart, a Connecticut Yankee.  Keith and Marsha provided a home for a continuous series of dearly loved dogs in their 45 years together. 

Marsha, known as “Tink” to family was filled with love. She had health problems all her life… but she would let you know quickly that she was “in God’s hands”.  Her God, her church (Cliffdale Community Church), her family, her dogs, and her friends were her priorities… in no particular order.

She leaves behind her husband, Keith, her aunt, Billie Sue Taylor, cousins, her sister-in-law Erryn Shannon, her church family, friends so close the feel they are her family, and her dogs. 

A Graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC.  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 12 pm at Cliffdale Community Church in Fayetteville.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11 am prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal charity of your choice.
