Mary Alma (Johnson) Crumpler

Mary Alma Johnson Crumpler, 91 of Fayetteville, NC went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 23, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Mary Alma was born in Cumberland County on September 6, 1933 to the late Thelma Carter and James Marshall Johnson.  She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Crumpler, brothers A.B. Johnson, W. Graham Johnson and sister Carol J. Wilson.

Mary Alma was a faithful member of Judson Baptist Church where she participated in various committees and served for over 50 years as a Sunday School Secretary.  She was a member of the Leila Carter Group and a Active part of the Senior Adult Group.

Mary Alma dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was very generous and giving and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Greg Crumpler and wife Carolyn of Rocky Mount, NC, Paul Crumpler and wife Janet of Winston Salem, NC, Amy Cameron and husband Anthony of Fayetteville, NC and five grandchildren: Hope Cameron-Smith and husband Jackson, William Crumpler, Morgan Crumpler, Rachel Crumpler and Paige Cameron.  and a sister in law, Anglo Johnson of Fayetteville. brother in law Jerry Crumpler of Moncks Corner, SC, and sister in law Jean Topay of Columbus, Ohio. along with several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 12pm to 1pm in Judson Baptist Church with the service starting at 1pm and the burial will follow in the church cemetery.
