Michael Adam Karakash

U.S. Army (Ret.) MSG Michael Adam Karakash, 82, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

Michael was born on October 21, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to the late Adam James Karakash and Maxine Robertson Karakash.  He retired after 20 years of service in the United States Army Special Forces.

Michael is survived by his wife of 57 years, Fusae Karakash; daughter, Theresa Hubbard (Robert); son, John Karakash (Anne); grandchildren, Jacob Hubbard, Aidan Hubbard, Holly Davis, Rose Davis, and Gabriel Karakash.

 A funeral service with military honors will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
