Michael Alan Logan, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Michael was born August 13, 1965, in Fayetteville, to Gary and Sharlyn Logan. He was employed at the family business, Logan’s Body Shop and became the owner/operator of the towing portion of the business.
He enjoyed fishing off the pier at the beach and loved taking and teaching his nieces how to fish. He bought each of them their own color-coded fishing rods and loved to spend time with them. He was the “Dean Smith” of softball coaches and led church league teams and Parks and Rec co-ed teams for several years. Michael had a wonderful sense of humor and loved being a jokester.
Michael is predeceased by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” and his father, Gary Logan.
He is survived by his mother, Sharlyn Logan; brother, Tracy Logan and wife, Sheri; beloved nieces, Payton Logan, Hannah Walker, and Lilly Walker; his fur baby, Sammy; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2 to 2:45 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3934 Sunnyside School Rd., in Vander, NC. A Memorial service will follow at 3 pm.
