Midori A. (Atobe) McGaha

Midori A. McGaha, 92,of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, December 7, 2024, at her residence.

She was born July 26, 1932, in Fukuoka, Japan. She was the beloved daughter of Asajiro and Kinue Atobe.

She leaves behind three sons, Clarence Oliver Jr.; Martin(Anora); and Carl (Anita); three granddaughters, Lisa, Crystal and Summer; sister, Tsuyako; brothers, Shigeo and Yasugi; step granddaughter, Lauren King;and step grandson, Travis King. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 1 to 2pm at Lafayette Baptist Church.  The funeral will follow at 2 pm at the church. Dr. Kevin Moore, and her Japanese preacher, Rev. Jun Matsuzaki, will be officiating the service. A Committal service will be held at 3 pm at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
