Monique Elizabeth Ramos

Monique Elizabeth Ramos, 52, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, after a two-year battle with pulmonary hypertension.

Monique was born on October 14, 1972, in New York, NY to the late Jaun Ramos and Elizabeth Reyes Ramos.

Monique had two favorite colors which were pink and purple. She loved to travel, cars and shopping. She always stayed busy and never took a minute for herself. She believed in honesty and never sugar coated anything. You would never hear Monique complaining, she never met a stranger, and she had a very big loving heart. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandbabies.

For the past 30 years, Monique worked as a traveling ultrasound technician where she spent most of her time at Ft. Knox and Ft. Bragg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Ramos.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughter, Monique Elizabeth Ramos Gaffney and husband Davon Brewington; fiancé, Darrell Russell; sons, J’Den Ramos, and Darrell Ramos Gaffney and fiancée Celeste Ramsey; brother, Jonathon Ramos; sister, Jacqueline Ramos Sizemore; grandchildren, A’Den Ramos, Adalynn Ramos, Leon Ramos, Kyng Brewington, Kehlani Brewington, Kylie Brewington; niece, Jacqueline Pabon; nephews, James Pabon and Liam Ramos; great niece and great nephew, Elola and Noell.

The family will have a Gathering of Friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
