Nannie Ruth Bradford, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her home. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared that love with everyone she met.
Nannie enjoyed attending and was an active member of Hope Mills Pentecostal Church. She retired after 23 years with the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier.
Her passion was spending time with her family, reading, playing the piano, working puzzles, and work searches. She enjoyed watching Andy Griffith, Gaither videos, Curious George and westerns.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A joint funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel for Nannie and Pete, the love of her life. The committal service will be held at 1 p.m. following the service at the Summerlin Family Cemetery in Seven Springs. Nannie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Letha Mae Summerlin; siblings; husband, Leon “Pete” Bradford; and her son, Robert “Danny” Grice.
Nannie was a loving mother to, David Grice and wife Amy; Anita Vanhalen and husband Frank, Lynda LeCoe, Kenny Bradford, Sherry Grice and Angela Gray; She was known as Grandma to 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.
Leon “Pete” Bradford went to be with this Heavenly Father, at home with the love of his life, Nannie Ruth, of 27 years of marriage on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
Pete was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who was loved by many.
