Paul Plessinger Obituary

Paul Eugene Plessinger, 78 of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Paul was born on September 19, 1942 in Warwick County, Virginia to the late Delbert Plessinger and Doris Garnand Plessinger. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, and retired from PWC as a mechanic.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with military honors.

Paul was preceded in death by his step-son, James Hull;  brother, Steve Plessinger; In-laws, Mildred and Willie Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Hall Plessinger; son, Kevin Plessinger and wife Ami; stepson, Darrell Hull, sisters, Ruth and Jennie Plessinger; brothers, David and Howard Plessinger; grandson, Paul Joseph Plessinger and 11 nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
