Prexides Mengote "Mercy" Schumacher

Prexides Mengote "Mercy" Schumacher, 71 of Spring Lake, NC passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021

She enjoyed having her grandchildren and children around her, Loved cooking and playing bingo.  She enjoyed watching old movies and sitcoms.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Tripon Bohol, Regalado Bohol, Pablo Bohol and Llang  Bohol and a sister, Aquilina Bohol.

Mercy is survived by her husband, Donald Albert Schumacher; two daughters, Michelle Florence (Cory) of Eagle River, Alaska and Sharon Leshnak (Greg) of Jacksonville, Florida; a son, Donald    Schumacher, Jr. of Raeford, NC; daughter-in-law, Joni Schumacher of Fayetteville, NC; eight grandchildren, Daniel (30), Cory, Jr. (25), Ciara (23) and Kaelyn (13), Florence, Greg, Jr. (23), Aleena (20) Leshnak, Austin (21) and Hailey (14) Schumacher; three sisters, Sofronia Bohol Diwa, Maria Ceba Bohol, and Crisanta Bohl Poucher.

The family will have a viewing and visitation from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at  Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 12:30pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home followed by committal at 2pm in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
