Ralph Robert Foote, III

Ralph Robert Foote, III, 77, of Fayetteville, NC, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Haymount Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Fayetteville.

Ralph was born July 15, 1946, in Berkeley, California to the late Ralph Robert Foote, Jr. and Jean Graham Foote.  He joined the US Air Force in 1966, and moved up in rank to become a Staff Sergeant by his retirement. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Ralph later retired from the Cumberland County School System – custodial services and occasional bus driver.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Jacqueline (Jackie) Facemire Foote; brother, Ronald Edward Foote; and sister, Billie Jean (Foote) Gould. 

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Lori Foote; sister, Cathi (Foote) Keel; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. 

Ralph enjoyed cooking, rare coin collecting, a large assortment of family dogs over the years, sharing truly horrible “dad jokes”, and spending time with friends and family. He was there for anyone who needed help. Ralph will be greatly missed, but we his family and friends, find peace in knowing that he will once again be with his beloved wife Jackie in Heaven.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel.  Full military honors will be rendered during this time.
