Richard "Steve" Bailey

Richard Steven “Steve”  Bailey, 61, of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side.

Steve was born on May 26, 1961, in Cumberland County to the late Richard A. Bailey and Edith Hollingsworth Bailey.

Steve was the Owner and Operator of RSB Trucking where  “He didn’t haul Cheap Freight”. He enjoyed fishing, listening to classic rock and attending concerts. He was an avid Redskins fan, but he was most passionate about spending time with his family during family gatherings, vacations or just spending time by the pool.

He was a loving husband, dad, poppy, and friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Bailey.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alinda “Lynn” Bailey; daughters, Stephanie McNair and husband, Christopher, Ashely Burge and husband Aaron; brother, Barry Bailey; grandchildren that he dearly cherished, Devon McNair, Steven Hankins, and Wyitt Horne.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home prior to the service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park - West.
