Ricky Lee Pate

Ricky Lee Pate, 62, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Ricky was born May 20, 1963, in Fayetteville to Horace Lee Pate and Peggy Joyce Beasley Pate. He worked in the Restaurant industry as a Manager at K&W Cafeterias. He enjoyed cars, traveling, cooking, martial arts, watching Sci-Fi movies and listening to music.

He is survived by his son, Derrick Jordan Pate; granddaughter, Kacyn Shoemaker; sister, Debra Pate Smith and husband, Donald; and a host of friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home at 2 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 1:50 pm. Entombment will follow at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Valley Hospice House, 2431 Legion Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
