Robert Carroll Dudley

Robert Carroll Dudley, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by his daughters.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty R. Dudley; his parents, Colbert Dudley and Darsel Dudley Bass; his siblings, James Dudley, Helen Dudley and David Dudley. 

Robert is survived by his daughters, Debbie D. Skarzenski, Sandy D. Roush, Tammy D. Holcomb (Tim); his grandson, Doug Skarzenski; his sister, Donna B. Caddick (John); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 12 to 2 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Cumberland County Animal Shelter or to a charity of your choice.
