Rollin Raymes Obituary

Rollin Otto Raymes, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Rollin was born on December 1, 1942, in Conway, South Carolina, to the late Presley Otto Raymes and Willmina Causey Raymes. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a MP and a Medic. Rollin later became the owner and operator of Raymes Plumbing, where he served his community with skill and dedication for many years.

An avid bowler, Rollin was a longtime member of several bowling leagues, where he formed lasting friendships and found great joy in the sport. Above all, Rollin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Raymes; and sisters, Earline “Shorty” Wiggins and Pearline Raymes.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Jennie Raymes; daughters, Natalie Holanek and husband Mike, and Traci Lynne Ellis; son, Rollin Jeffery Raymes and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Holanek, Elizabeth Christman and husband Sean, Cody Austin Raymes and wife Chava, Landon Jeffery Raymes, Kortney Melissa Raymes, Anne Elise Ellis, and Ian Matthew Ellis; great-grandchildren, Haywood Holanek, Sean Christman, Meagan Mae Christman, and Ryan Michael Christman. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Tyndall; and brothers, Billy Raymes and Rick Raymes.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, May 2, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel. Burial with military honors will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park.
