Ronald Joseph "Ron" Walthall, 66 of Hope Mills passed away at his home on Monday, September 28, 2020 

Ron was born on September 25, 1954 in Cumberland County, NC to the Late Joseph W. Walthall and Bobbie Jean Spires Walthall.

He was a graduate of Radford High School in Honolulu, Ha, worked in the Military Business for 45 years , was general store manager for General Jackson's, also with U.S. Calvary and Hills Military. He knew the business.

Ron enjoyed gardening and working in yards, he was a big time foosball player with his partner Dennis Hill, video games was a great pass time.  Most of all he loved his New 2020 Mustang GT

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph W. Walthall and grandparents, Raymond & Mary Spires 

A visitation limited to 25 people will be held from 11am to 1pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home with a funeral service limited to 50 people will follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel.  Social Distancing and wearing of masks are required.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lake, NC

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Marsha Jeanne Walters Walthall of Hope Mills and two sons, Christopher Michael Walters and wife Brooke of St Pauls, NC   and Joseph  Walthall  and wife Stacie of Richmond, Va, Three grandsons Hayden & Brennen of St Pauls, NC and Parker of Richmond, VA. his Mother, Bobbie Jean Spires Walthall of Hope Mills,  his sisters, Joyce Lewis and Stephanie Edrington both of Spring Lake, NC
