Rosalia (Lamprecht) Carpenter

Rosalia “Rose” Lamprecht Carpenter, 94, of Youngsville, NC, and formerly of Fayetteville, NC, died Thursday, August 15, 2024, at her residence.

Rose was born April 30, 1930, in Bamberg, Germany, to the late Michael Lamprecht and Maria Badum.  She was a homemaker. 

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Carpenter, daughter, Catherine Ann Carpenter, and several siblings in Germany.   

Rose is survived by her daughters, Mary Carpenter Haden, of Disputanta, VA and Patricia Rose Carpenter of Fayetteville; son, L. Wayne Carpenter of Youngsville; four grandchildren, Richard Linwood Haden, Jr., Laci Miller Wargo, Rosemary Britt, and Cory Austin Carpenter; and three great-grandchildren, Trey Haden, Brent Haden, and Matthew Britt.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  A committal service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park.
