Ruby (DeWitt) Elkins

Mrs. Ruby DeWitt Elkins, 95, of Louisburg, NC, died Sunday, November 3, 2024, at her residence.

Ruby was born November 4, 1928, in Marion Junction, AL, to the late George Theodore DeWitt and Bama Boggs.  She was a homemaker. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Elkins, Sr., her son, James L. Elkins, Jr., and grandson, Brian Elkins. 

Ruby is survived by her children Michael Elkins, Cheryl Strider (John), and Eddie Elkins (Joanne); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. 

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
