Toni Lynn (Boldig) Terry

Toni Lynn Boldig Terry, 70, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away February 13, 2025.

She was born February 17, 1954, in Ft Belvoir, VA to the late CSM Dale Boldig and his wife Jeanne(Lewis). 

Toni was an avid animal lover. She rescued many dogs and took them into her loving home. She was an amazing cook and baker, a skill she learned from her late mother. Toni was a long-standing employee of Black & Decker where she took great pride in her work. She always cherished the many friends she made that were more like family. Forever helping others, Toni ultimately retired serving Cumberland County. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, the late CSM Dale Boldig & his wife Jeanne (Lewis), as well as sisters Natalie Hansen (and husband James), Dawn “Missy”Hayes, and her brother Dana Boldig.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Steven Terry; her brother Mark Boldig; nieces Carrie Pieper, Tina Marver, Melissa Boldig, Cassie Brunson, and Ashley McDonald; her only nephew Matthew Boldig; her sister-in-law Margarete Cooney; brother in law Michael Hayes; great niece and nephew Katelyn and Jaidyn who always held a special place in her heart.  

A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland County Humane Society.
