Trillma (Royal) Pribbenow

Trillma Royal Pribbenow of Eastover, passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born in Sampson County, NC in 1934 to the late Wade Hampton Royal and Theata Butler Royal. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, David Pribbenow.

In 1969, Trillma joined Salem Methodist Church and sang in the choir for over 50 years. She was fond of her front porch parties and pulling weeds in her yard. Leaves didn’t stand a chance as she was an avid yard raker. She was an Air Force wife and homemaker.

She was loved and cherished by all who knew her, and she is already missed by so many.

Trillma leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters Gloria Williams (Clifford), Terry Barnes (Curtis), Debora Fussell, and Diane Strickland (Karl); Sisters Ozelle Griffin (David), and Judy Harrison: seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:50 pm on February 28, 2025, at Salem Methodist Church in Eastover. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm with a burial following in the church cemetery.
