Trisha Parker Truelove, 75, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 7, 2023.
Trisha was born on January 3, 1948 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late John Roy Parker, Jr. and Grace Evelyn Smith Parker.
Trisha graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1966. She attended East Carolina University. She retired from Carolina Telephone after 33 years.
In Trisha's younger days she enjoyed cruising in her 1967 GTO convertible, listening to beach music, dancing and being with her friends. Later in life she got into crafts. Quilting, crocheting, cross-stitching and ceramics were just some of the things she enjoyed. She also loved to cook! You didn't leave her house without eating something, or taking some with you.
Trisha's friends, especially the guys and gals from "The Phone Company", meant the world to her. She was fiercely loyal and always there for them.
She loved her three granddaughters more than anything! She would talk about them whenever she got the chance.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Trisha is survived by her son, Heath Truelove and wife Beth; granddaughters, Maggie Grace Truelove, Sadie Truelove and Parker Truelove; brother, Johnny Parker and wife Noveleen; nephews, Bryce and Colin Parker.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Duke Children’s Hospital, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Disabled American Veteran’s.
