William "Bill" Roth-Roffy

William Leon Roth-Roffy, 68, of Autryville, NC, passed away on Thursday morning, October 24, 2024, at his home. 

Bill was born November 5, 1955, in Belleville, IL, to Charles Joseph Roth-Roffy, Jr. and Sylvia Helen Giavelli Roth-Roffy. 

He was a Firefighter with the city of Fayetteville for over 33 years and served as a Captain at the time of his death.  He was a member of the NC Hazardous Materials Regional Response Team (RRT) and a member of the NC Firefighters Association and the NC Association of Rescue and Emergency Medical Services.  

Bill enjoyed camping, yardwork, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his “Little Buddy”, Oliver.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles, Jr. and granddaughter, Alexis M. Francis.

Bill is survived by his wife, Karen Riley Roth-Roffy; son, William Ryan Roth-Roffy (Andrea) daughter, Stephanie Marie Lane (Patrick); grandchildren, Oliver Roth-Roffy and Cooper R. Lane; sister, Sandra S. Roth-Roffy; and brother, Thomas K. Roth-Roffy (Grace).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1 to 2:45 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 3 pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.
