William "Billy" Robert Buford, Jr.

William “Billy” Robert Buford, Jr., passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, NC.  Visitation will immediately follow the service.

Billy was born on August 09, 1988 and was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.  He graduated from Jack Britt High School in 2006 and studied Engineering at N.C. State University.  Ever curious and smart, he loved tinkering with things in order to find out how they worked.  This talent would lead to his current position at Apple, providing end user support.  In his spare time, you may find him working on a car, trying to figure a way to make it better.  Billy had a talent for figuring a way to get just about anything working again.

Blessed with musical talent, Billy enjoyed playing his guitar and making music for all.  He truly was a caring and loving soul, always easy going, he easily made friends everywhere he went.

Billy is survived by his mother, Tabatha Duran and husband Alvaro; father William Buford, Sr. and wife Wanda; grandparents Helga and Raymond Shaw; three sisters, Courtney Pomeroy and husband Jacob, Mahera Abu-Seif, and Melaina Davis; one brother, Jonathan Davis; one step-sister, Chloe Canady; three step-brothers, Joshua Canady, Alvaro Duran, and Marco Antonio Duran; two nephews, Brody and Gavin Pomeroy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Nadia Abu-Seif, maternal grandparents Edward and Brigitte Matteson and paternal grandfather Robert Buford.
