Willie Pearl (Smith) Shiver

Willie Pearl Shiver, 86, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by loving members of her family.

Pearl was born on May 9, 1938, in Houston County, AL to the late Charlie Kermit Smith and Willie Green Smith

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Shiver & son Terry Shiver. She was a “military wife”, her & her (5) boys accompanied her husband, USAF all over the world. She was a loving mother, MeMe, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Family was her most prized possession. She is survived by her (4) sons, (2) daughters, (8) grandchildren & (5) great grandchildren.

Pearl spent over 20 years employed by USAF- MWR, Morale Welfare & Recreation. She was a great seamstress & also loved to crochet, making over (60) blankets & quilts for family & friends. She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide football & the Atlanta Braves baseball teams.

She was the rock & foundation of her family & will be greatly missed.
